Since I can’t make changes to the subscription or digital info pages on the site on the weekend, especially with a webmaster out on a boat in the Pacific, I’m doing what I can to let you know what to expect as a digital subscriber by posting here on the blog.
Digital and overseas subscribers will be sent an e-mail, on the first of the month (from our time zone — Pacific), with instructions on getting the digital issue. The e-mails are scheduled to go out at 1 a.m. on 1 January, 2011, Pacific Time. Please keep in mind that this process is not yet automated — subscriptions that come in over the weekend will be processed on Monday.
If you are an overseas subscriber, and think that we do not have your current e-mail, or do not get an e-mail at the time I’ve mentioned, you can go to this form and update your e-mail address. I will do my best to get these updated and new e-mails sent out as soon as possible, but it may take until Monday to finish if it becomes a huge task. You must, of course, be a current subscriber to get the digital issue.
I’ll have answers for the lifetime print subscribers about getting digital issues next week. Thanks for your patience as we figure out the answers to all your questions.
